Dawlish's black swan and her brand new cygnet.

The pair of black swans have a large nest on The Brook, which runs through the centre of Dawlish. For weeks they have been taking turns to sit on the clutch of 6 eggs - the first one hatched today (Mon 16 March).

We hope the rest will also hatch successfully, very soon.
