Dawlish Air Show
The Dawlish Air Shows of 2008 and 2009. The highlight of the 2009 show was the Avro Vulcan (G-VLCN), escorted by the Red Arrows.
XH558 was the last Vulcan to leave RAF service, flying on from 1986 to 1993 as the single RAF Display Vulcan, a career of 33 years.
After 14 years and a £7 million rebuild, the Vulcan flew again on 18 October 2007. We were very fortunate to see her flying at the Dawlish Airshow this year, in tight formation with the Red Arrows.
