Brunel's Atmospheric Railway

Steam trains are a regular feature of this spectacular line, which one of the most scenic stretches of main line railway in Europe. Running from Exeter to Newton Abbot via Dawlish and Teignmouth, it sweeps along the sea wall offering views of the Exe estuary, the English Channel coastline and magnificent red cliffs. The line was built by the engineer, Brunel. This is a selection of the classic steam and diesel locomotives and engines seen on this line.
